What a Great Day :)

Day before Alex's birthday. Filled with fun. :)
Starting last night--me and Ashwee went to buy presents (the Black Keys album and Vogue in French). We hung out at Barnes and Noble for awhile, drinking deliciousness and reading celebrity magazines.. which apparently was the place to be because we both saw quite a few people we knew.

Then this morning, we got up at the buttcrack of dawn (well, not really--but before 7 on a Saturday might as well be) and ran six miles. It was..well.. long. Good but long.

Afterwards, I made $35 for babysitting one ADORABLE child for 3 and a half hours.
Then I went over to Alex's to go rock climbing. :D Not that there is a rock climbing wall in Alex's house--we drove to Arlington to do that.. and it happened to be on the same day that all the boy scouts decided to go. Heheh. It was a lot of fun though--and quite the arm workout.

Then we met up at Mellow Mushroom with Ashwee (who suffered the rest of the day in musical practice) and Josh (Alex's boyyyfrann) to eat delicious pizza..the wait was an hour. -_- But it was well worth the wait; the pizza there is the best in town (plus the atmosphere is awesome). AND the 2 minutes I was in the bathroom was when the staff decided to bring Alex's free dessert and sing happy birthday to her. Heh. I missed it. It was a lot of fun though--we spent majority of our time (while waiting) staring at strangers until we awkwardly made eye contact.
